Poul Bertelsen will step down as CEO at Plum A/S at the end of this year. The current Supply Chain Manager, Bo Eriksen, will take up the position. After 9 years at Plum, Bo has great knowledge of the company and the core processes and will confidently continue our traditions and implement necessary changes.
In December 2014, Plum A/S was purchased by CCS Healthcare AB, which is owned by the equity fund Segulah, and the company is now part of the Scandinavian group. The acquisition will be followed by expansion and automation of the production facilities and new expanded laboratory facilities. These investments are intended to make Plum A/S a center of excellence for hygiene and to expand the production of hand hygiene products for the Scandinavian market.
"Being part of a large international group will allow us to further develop our core competencies, while still maintaining the traditions upon which Plum is based", says the new CEO, Bo Eriksen.
Bo Eriksen will be responsible for the production and quality processes and for driving the company into the position as the new Scandinavian powerhouse in the field of hygiene. On the Scandinavian markets, Sales and Marketing Manager Ninette Jensen will focus on creating new growth opportunities in collaboration with and for the benefit of our retailers and partners.
Poul Bertelsen will continue to play a role in the Group Management and on the Board of Directors and will be responsible for organizing First Aid into divisions. The latter will occur in cooperation with Vice President Bo Winther Barkholt, who will later take over full responsibility for the First Aid division.
